Description
A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage all financial, budgeting, asset management, payroll, risk management, and supply chain management functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a key role in ensuring financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and effective resource management within a dynamic organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the budgeting and financial planning process, including forecasting and expenditure management.
- Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, annual financial statements, and audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with PFMA, GRAP, IFRS, Treasury Regulations, tax legislation, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage payroll administration, including PAYE, EMP501 reconciliations, pension, and medical aid payments.
- Implement and monitor risk management frameworks and internal controls.
- Oversee asset management and maintain accurate asset registers.
- Manage and optimise supply chain management systems, supplier databases, and contract management processes.
- Drive financial governance, policy development, and stakeholder reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
- Completed 3-year Articles.
- Minimum 5 years’ financial management experience.
- Professional membership with SAICA or SAIPA will be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of PFMA, IFRS, GRAP, Treasury Regulations, Income Tax Act, and supply chain management frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting systems and payroll administration.
- Proven leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and project management capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity, professionalism, and the ability to perform under pressure.
