Controller

We're looking for a sharp, hands-on Controller to join our Finance team. If you like owning the numbers end-to-end, not just closing the books but understanding why they look the way they do - this is the place for you.
You'll report to the Director of Finance and be a key player in managing the financials of a global tech company run out of Israel.

This is a role for someone who moves fast and isn't precious about rolling up sleeves, excels in direct communication, and has a "let's solve it now" mentality.

What you'll own

• Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting (US GAAP), including close process management and reporting to the Director of Finance. 
• Statutory tax filings and full compliance with Israeli tax authorities and regulatory requirements.
• Managing external auditors, tax advisors, and statutory filing deadlines.
• Logistics and financial coordination - working cross-functionally with operations/logistics to ensure financial processes align with the physical/operational side of the business.
• Managing and mentoring the Accounts Payable team - reviewing processes, approvals, and vendor payment cycles.
• Strengthening internal controls, close procedures, AI tools and practices and financial processes as the company scales.

What we're looking for

• Big 4 alumni (Big 4 audit/assurance background strongly preferred) - you know how to build and defend a clean set of books.
• Prior experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller at a tech company - you understand SaaS/tech revenue models and the pace of a tech organization.
• Deep familiarity with Israeli tax and regulatory reporting requirements
• CPA 
• Strong Excel skills; comfort working with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP or similar).
• Fluent Hebrew and English 
• A "get it done" attitude - you don't wait for permission to fix a broken process
