About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a role in Senior Business Execution Consultant
In this role, you will:
- Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
- Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
- Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
- Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
- Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
- Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures
- Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in Third-Party Risk Management, Vendor Management, Supply Chain Management, Operational Risk, Technology Risk, AI Governance, or related business execution functions.
- Strong understanding of third-party lifecycle management, including due diligence, risk assessments, contracting, onboarding, ongoing monitoring, renewals, and termination activities.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled technologies, Generative AI concepts, and associated third-party risk considerations, including data privacy, information security, model governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to evaluate third-party products and services, identify potential risks, and recommend appropriate governance, contractual protections, and control requirements.
- Experience assessing business needs and identifying opportunities to leverage existing enterprise capabilities, vendor relationships, or contractual arrangements before pursuing new procurement activities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively with senior business, risk, legal, compliance, technology, and sourcing leaders.
- Excellent verbal, written, executive communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable recommendations.
- Experience performing vendor portfolio reviews, identifying consolidation opportunities, and driving cost optimization initiatives.
Job Expectations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CIB stakeholders on third-party services, vendor capabilities, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Evaluate AI-enabled services embedded within vendor offerings and identify potential exposure arising from generative AI within third-party engagements.
- Advise CIB leadership on AI governance requirements, contractual protections, risk controls, data protection measures, and regulatory considerations.
- Assess new business requests and determine whether existing vendor engagements, contracts, or enterprise-approved capabilities can be leveraged before initiating new procurement activities.
- Develop expertise in vendor offerings and business use cases to identify opportunities for consolidation, reuse, rationalization, and cost optimization.
- Provide strategic recommendations that maximize existing vendor investments while minimizing operational, contractual, onboarding, and support effort.
- Act as a liaison between CIB stakeholders and Enterprise SCM, supporting intake, demand management, sourcing execution, third-party risk activities, governance, and reporting.
- Drive end-to-end governance across the third-party lifecycle, including intake, due diligence, contracting, onboarding, risk assessments, renewals, and ongoing monitoring.
- Lead vendor benchmarking and capability assessments to support business decision-making, sourcing strategies, and budget planning.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities through vendor portfolio analysis, contract utilization reviews, and service rationalization efforts.
- Ensure adherence to Wells Fargo's third-party risk management, AI governance, compliance, and data protection standards while proactively identifying and mitigating emerging risks.
