Tool and Fastener Coordinator
Job Overview
The T&F Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing, procurement, and delivery coordination of various tool, fastener, firestop, safety and miscellaneous building material orders to CBSI’s customers. This position requires managing effective and professional relationships with customers, the sales team and vendors. This position incorporates a customer service representative, inside sales contact, and purchaser. It requires the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The T&F Coordinator position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, familiarity with computers (word and excel), ability to type effectively, and an aptitude for pricing.
Roles and Responsibilities
Order Entry
Accurately process and enter customer orders
Effectively communicate receipt of orders with sales team and customers
Ensure accuracy of every order
Customer Service
Effectively communicate delivery information to customers
Establish and grow relationships with customers
Participate in available training to grow consultative sales with problem solving solutions
Purchasing
Procure items as needed for orders
Ensure accurate and timely receiving of product
Manage professional vendor relationships and ensure value
Assist purchasing team in managing stock levels
Inventory Management
Actively participate in cycle counts, quarterly and annual inventories
Monitor sales and advise purchasing team
Transfer product as needed and ensure accuracy
Tool Repairs
Accurately process and track customer tool repairs
Effectively communicate repair times and costs with customers
Operations
Assist all CBSI locations with T&F items
Arrange will call orders at all locations as required
Manage deliveries of smaller items as required
Administrative duties
Ensure all orders are accurate and invoiced promptly
Ensure all product is received and paperwork processed upon receipt

Requirements
Experience with commercial building materials is most helpful to success in this position. Candidates must have a positive attitude and professional appearance. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to grow relationships in a business environment. Prior leadership experience will be given preference but is not required. Geographic knowledge of the Greater Washington DC area is also helpful, but not required. The ideal candidate will have a track record of balancing multiple priorities, successfully, in a business environment.
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $39,520.00 to $49,700.00 annually. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, commissions, profit-sharing programs, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
