QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN
Job Description
Position Summary
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process
production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company quality standards,
customer specifications, and regulatory requirements within a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform inspections and testing of incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished
products.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify non-conforming materials and support corrective actions.
• Use measurement and testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and
laboratory instruments.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Assist with investigations related to quality issues, customer complaints, and product
defects.
• Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and company procedures.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of quality systems, inspection techniques, and statistical process control is a
plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Required Skills
• Proficiency with inspection and measurement tools.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Visual ability to inspect products and identify defects.
