What you'll do...
Role summary:The Senior Manager, Mechanical Construction, leads and oversees multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and regulatory standards. This role provides strategic guidance to cross-functional teams, manages contractor relationships, and enforces compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The position drives continuous improvement by evaluating project performance, resolving conflicts, and implementing design changes. With a focus on leadership and operational excellence, the Senior Manager fosters a collaborative environment that supports team development and delivers high-quality, compliant construction outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
About the team:
The team oversees mechanical construction for remodels, new stores, and asset replacements, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and contractors to ensure safe, code-compliant, and high-quality installations. They manage project schedules, budgets, and operational requirements while minimizing disruption to store operations. The team provides leadership and guidance throughout project lifecycles, enforces compliance with regulations, and drives continuous improvement. Focused on effective communication and coordination, they deliver results that meet business objectives and maintain high standards of quality and safety across all construction initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Oversee construction budgets by reviewing preconstruction estimates, tracking reports, and approving payments and change orders to ensure financial compliance.
- Monitor contractor performance and enforce adherence to laws, regulations, and company standards, suspending noncompliant work as necessary.
- Lead cross-functional teams by providing guidance on construction guidelines, design changes, and new initiatives to maintain quality and compliance.
- Manage project schedules, coordinate procurement and deliveries, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely completion within construction standards.
- Represent the company with municipalities and public officials to uphold project quality and regulatory compliance through all phases.
- Develop and mentor associates, establish performance expectations, and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in construction and project management with a strong focus on mechanical construction.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, including reviewing and tracking preconstruction and ongoing budget reports.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and providing guidance on construction standards and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and ability to enforce compliance on construction projects.
- Skilled in coordinating project schedules, resolving conflicts, and ensuring timely delivery within scope.
- Effective leadership in mentoring, coaching, and developing team members to achieve performance goals.

The annual salary range for this position is $88,000.00 - $171,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
