Senior Compliance Officer

We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Compliance Officer to ensure our operations in the Philippines remain fully aligned with regulatory and legal requirements. If you have a strong legal background, proven experience in a regulated industry (ideally gaming), and a passion for navigating complex compliance challenges, this is the role for you. As a key member of our Compliance team, you’ll be working at the intersection of law, regulation, and business operations—collaborating with internal stakeholders and regulators (e.g., PAGCOR) to ensure full compliance and proactively managing regulatory risk.

As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will:

• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards through research, action planning, and regulatory approvals (e.g., PAGCOR).;
• Support the Compliance Manager in meeting country-specific regulatory obligations and delivering compliance initiatives across the business;
• Conduct regulatory research by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other relevant sources of information;
• Develop and support regulatory policies through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, incorporating future trends and relevant data; 
• Define the strategic compliance approach locally, aligned with group-level objectives;
• Liaise with Independent Authorities, Governmental and non-governmental bodies, law enforcement agencies, auditors, and peer companies to promote the company’s interests;
• Perform risk assessments and internal audits to monitor legal and regulatory compliance across departments;
• Prepare structured and insightful reports on regulatory requirements and related action plans, ensuring traceability and transparency;
• Prepare formal responses to questions and investigations conducted by official bodies;
• Coordinate compliance audits conducted by regulatory authorities;
• Foster a culture of compliance by delivering tailored trainings, awareness initiatives, and consistent communication across teams;

Support the business in navigating evolving regulatory environments and managing change.


What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; a legal academic background is strongly preferred.
•  3–7 years of relevant experience in the gaming sector or another highly regulated industry.
• Familiarity with Philippine regulatory requirements and experience dealing with authorities.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
