Job Description

The Financial Accounting Intern will collaborate with our corporate Accounting & Finance teams in all areas of Accounting support. Interns develop a broad range of accounting and financial reporting skills. This position gains hands on experience in developing properly prepared financials reports through reconciliations and financial analytics, as well as an opportunity to foster confidence and relationships with both management and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices with the Accounts Payable team
• Prepare reconciliations for Controller review
• Review financial data for proper general ledger posting
• Prepare financial analysis for specific spending accounts
• Shadow staff accountant in various month end tasks to learn revenue cycle

Skills and Knowledge

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of team, Effective communication and interpersonal skills., Enthusiastic attitude, Exceptional verbal, writing, and analytical skills, Intermediate Excel experience preferred, Understanding of accounting principles

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work part-time in a Rally House store prior to starting the internship
• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university and/or recent graduate with or pursuing a relevant degree (e.g. Accounting, Finance, etc.)
• Eligible to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment
• Able to clearly view and read information on a computer screen
• Occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds

Pay Range

$18.00 - $22.00
