PURPOSE

• Provide technique expertise for setting enterprise-wide data science and AI strategy, roadmap, process and tools to achieve Data Driven Decision Organization
• Drive the implementation of strategic data science initiatives such as Smart Insurance, Auto ML, and advanced analytics to achieve business growth, better customer experience and productivity improvement
• Building the Data Science & GenAI/AI Agents capability and team for the firm while effectively managing this newly developed function.
• Enable country data science team by strategy design, best practice sharing, necessary training and coach

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

• Provide thought leadership and contribute to developing and executing detail data science and AI strategy and roadmap
• Build high performance team
• Deliver actionable insights through machine learning and AI/GenAI
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and develop new Product/Tool/Process innovation by using AI, Machine Learning, GenAI & AI Agents
• Challenge the way we do business through application of advanced analytics and data science including predictive modelling, machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning, pattern recognition, expert systems and AI

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, MBA, or equivalent trade-off in related professional work experience
• 10 years strong experiences with Customer Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Business Intelligence program development and implementation
• 5 years team management experience
• Familiar with LLM, AI/GenAI, Agentic AI techniques
• Familiar SAS, SPSS, R, Python, Spark,  pylearn2, SQL
• Familiar with Vibe coding by using Claude Code, Github Copilot or Databricks Genie
• Actively seeks new AI/ML/data management technology options and approaches
• Strong people Management skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with business leaders to align with strategic goals

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Knowledge of insurance industry leading data analytics and AI practices
• Knowledge of advanced analytics: linear regression, logistic regression, decision tree, neural network, random forest,  k-means, ARMA, association rule, SVM, ANN, CNN, DNN
• Knowledge of GenAI, Agentic AI, Knowledge base/graph, prompt engineering, context engineering, harness engineering etc
• Tool: SAS, SPSS, R, Python, RapidMiner, Spark,  pylearn2, SQL
• Vibe Coding: Claude Code, Github Copilot, Databricks Genie
