Description
Eaton is seeking a proactive and analytical Supply Chain Network Scheduler to play a critical role within our integrated, intelligent, and agile supply chain organization. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring short-term product availability (0-3 months horizon) across markets, balancing supply and demand for finished goods and semi-finished products within your assigned value stream.
As the primary supply representative for a given value stream, you will lead capacity and material constraint management, leveraging scenario planning to mitigate risks and maintain service levels. Working closely with demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, and other supply chain stakeholders, you will drive effective decision-making and exception management to ensure optimal product flow across the network.
As a key member of the Supply Chain Planning organization, you will own critical supply escalations, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to delivering a resilient and customer-focused supply chain. This position reports directly to the Network Planner and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on operational performance and customer satisfaction across the region.
## What you’ll do:
- Develop and own the short-term supply plan (0-12 weeks horizon) for finished goods within the assigned value stream, ensuring product availability across markets.
- Create and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and coordinate CoE resources (buyers, planners, production schedulers, etc.) to ensure successful execution.
- Manage and resolve supply-demand imbalances and planning exceptions, driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Monitor and address capacity and material constraints, assessing their impact on the short-term supply plan and escalating risks when required.
- Partner closely with operations to ensure schedule adherence and effective execution of the production plan.
- Build and evaluate alternative planning scenarios to minimize demand at risk, maximize customer service levels, and achieve inventory and cost targets.
- Track and analyze key supply chain KPIs, including service level, inventory performance, cash, and cost metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product availability within the value stream, ensuring timely communication and resolution of escalations.
- Stay closely aligned with demand signals and market changes to proactively adjust plans and respond to evolving customer requirements.
- Maintain planning data integrity by auditing planning parameters and ERP data, while supporting inventory optimization initiatives, including slow-moving inventory management.
## Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or equivalent.
- Around 5 years in Supply Chain (Materials Management, Inventory management, demand planning, supply planning, procurement, SIOP…).
## Skills:
- Deep functional understanding of supply chain processes: procurement, SIOP, Materials Management, demand planning and forecasting, end-to-end planning, master production Scheduling, capacity analysis, inventory management.
- Working understanding of MRP area.
- CPIM certification a plus.
- Ability to adapt and to get results in a complex environment .
- Influential and collaborative, able to challenge the status quo to solve complex challenges.
- Must be able to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Ability to use data to generate scenarios, and drive decision-making.
