Enterprise Security Services Corporation, a women-owned and minority-owned firm with 30-plus years of security experience, is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to cover client locations across the Baltimore metro. We are after dependable professionals who take ownership of the spaces they protect.Where you'll workOfficers support a range of client sites around Baltimore, including retail stores, shopping centers, offices, and comparable venues. Assignments are made based on where coverage is needed, so your worksite may differ between assignments. We are hiring people who can work reliably at locations within and around the city.ResponsibilitiesEstablish a visible, professional presence that deters theft and disorderConduct regular foot patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areasManage access control and direct visitors at entry pointsObserve CCTV and alarm systems and act on anything out of the ordinaryStep in to defuse conflicts and handle disturbances with composureCoordinate with store or property management throughout the shiftPrepare incident reports and shift logs that are accurate and completeRequirementsPossess or be able to obtain Maryland security guard certification, processed through our licensed agency under Maryland State Police requirementsMeet Maryland's minimum age and eligibility standards for security workPass a thorough criminal background checkReliable way to commute to assigned sites across the Baltimore areaClear communication and strong observation skillsAble to stand and patrol for long stretchesBasic first aid or CPR certification is a plus, though not requiredBenefitsWeekly pay on a consistent, reliable scheduleScheduling that flexes to fit your availabilityPick up extra shifts across a range of client locationsAdvancement opportunities as new assignments open upUniform & equipmentA clean Class A black uniform is required (ability to obtain).
