An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Operations / Operations Director to join a growing Supported Living provider and take a leading role in the continued development of its services.
This is a senior operational position for an experienced care leader who can oversee service delivery, drive quality and performance, and support the organisation's wider growth strategy.
Based in the West Midlands / Midlands, the role will involve regular national travel across the organisation's services and would suit someone who is commercially aware, operationally strong, and confident leading teams across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across Supported Living services
- Oversee the performance, quality, and operational delivery of multiple services
- Lead, support, and develop Registered Managers and operational teams
- Ensure services consistently meet CQC and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement across quality, compliance, and service performance
- Monitor operational KPIs, staffing, budgets, and financial performance
- Support the mobilisation and development of new Supported Living services
- Develop and implement effective operational systems and processes
- Build strong relationships with commissioners, Local Authorities, families, and other stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support sustainable growth
- Provide regular operational reporting and strategic insight to senior leadership
- Help shape the organisation's long-term operational strategy
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within Supported Living
- Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Operations Director, or similar
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance, and quality standards
- Experience overseeing multiple Supported Living services or locations
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercially aware with experience managing operational and financial performance
- Proven track record of driving service improvement and organisational growth
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strategic thinker with strong operational decision-making abilities
- Comfortable with regular national travel
