AssociateJob Description & Summary
Our People in Deals team supports corporate and private equity clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. We identify and manage the people-related implications of acquisitions, disposals, carve-outs and reorganisations, from due diligence and deal preparation through execution and post-deal implementation. Working closely with other teams to ensure support for our clients. As part of a diverse and collaborative team, you will contribute to transaction projects in Switzerland and internationally.Your impact
- In your role as Associate, you will work on a variety of M&A and strategy related topics focusing on people elements through the life cycle of a deal. Typical projects scope includes HR and pensions due diligence, HR operating models, change and communication, day-1 and day-100 planning and organisational design.
- You will build expertise in people-related due diligence by reviewing workforce information, identifying key risks and opportunities, and assessing their potential impact on the transaction.
- You will drive day-to-day delivery across operating model design, targeted communication and change initiatives, as well as day-1 and day-100 planning.
- You will work together with large international corporations, mid-market firms as well as specialists across Deals, Corporate Tax, Legal and Reward to deliver integrated solutions throughout the transaction and according to the program.
- You will partner in growing the business by supporting internal initiatives such as proposals, thought leadership and internal and external trainings.
- You will build trusted relationships with colleagues and clients while developing technical expertise in HR, Workforce, pensions, organizational design and people-related separation and integration topics.
Your skill set
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Law, or related fields.
- Strong interest in the intersection of people and transactions, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an interest in developing and learning new AI based solutions
- Confidence in working with financial and workforce data, including the ability to structure incomplete information, identify inconsistencies and communicate complex findings clearly.
- Excellent English and German skills; French and/or Italian are an advantage.
- Collaborative, proactive and eager to learn in a dynamic and international environment.
- Initial professional experience in people-related due diligence, carve-outs, reorganisations or comparable transaction and transformation projects is an advantage.
