Matern Professional Engineering, Inc. is seeking a high-performing MEP/FP & Technology Field Representative to lead our Field Services function as the primary point of contact in Fort Myers, FL.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and construction. You will operate with high autonomy, collaborating directly with clients, contractors, and our internal engineering teams to ensure the successful, code-compliant installation of complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Field Leadership: Serve as the primary, on-site representative for all Fort Myers field services.
• Technical Reviews: Evaluate subcontractor shop drawings and submittals for strict compliance with contract documents and building codes.
• Site Inspections: Conduct thorough field observations and author precise, detailed technical reports.
• Problem Solving: Resolve construction-phase issues and provide clear, accurate answers to Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Team Collaboration: Interface daily with clients, contractors, and design teams while reporting directly to the local Mechanical and Electrical Professional Engineers.
