Description

The Employee Experience & Culture team helps bring Fresenius Medical Care’s culture to life by developing and activating our Core Values, behaviors, and cultural priorities and translating them into meaningful experiences for employees and leaders.

The Senior Culture & Experience Specialist will independently lead culture, engagement, and employee experience programs and workstreams, translating strategic priorities into practical solutions for leaders and employees. This role combines program ownership, project management, content and resource development, research, communications, stakeholder engagement, and data-informed problem solving.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and project leader who can operate with autonomy, navigate ambiguity, manage multiple stakeholders, and move seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead the design, planning, execution, and continuous improvement of assigned culture, employee engagement, experience, recognition, and related programs or workstreams.
  • Translate culture and employee experience strategies into practical programs, tools, resources, communications, and experiences that leaders and employees can readily apply.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementation, establishing project plans, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines and dependencies, identifying risks, and driving deliverables to completion.
  • Develop high-quality toolkits, guides, frameworks, presentations, communications, recommendations, and other resources for leaders and employees.
  • Research and evaluate industry trends, leading practices, and emerging approaches related to organizational culture, employee engagement, employee experience, and workplace effectiveness, and recommend opportunities for application within Fresenius Medical Care.
  • Analyze and synthesize employee feedback, survey results, program metrics, qualitative insights, and other information to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop compelling presentations, communications, reports, and recommendations for leadership and other stakeholder audiences.
  • Build strong relationships with HR, Global Communications, business leaders, and cross-functional partners and independently engage stakeholders to advance culture and employee experience priorities.
  • Facilitate meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions to gather input, align on approaches, resolve issues, and move work forward.
  • Identify opportunities to improve programs, processes, resources, and employee experiences and develop recommendations for addressing them.
  • Support the development of broader culture and employee experience strategies by bringing insights, ideas, external practices, and employee perspectives into team planning and decision-making.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to colleagues and stakeholders on assigned culture, engagement, and employee experience programs and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in organizational psychology, organizational development, human resources, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in organizational culture, employee experience, employee engagement, organizational development, communications, human resources, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing programs, projects, or significant workstreams from planning through implementation.
  • Strong understanding of organizational culture, employee engagement, employee experience, change, or related organizational effectiveness practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to develop polished, compelling materials for leadership and employee audiences.
  • Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities, stakeholders, dependencies, and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information and translate insights into recommendations.
  • Ability to translate strategic concepts into practical, user-friendly programs, tools, resources, and experiences.
  • Strong judgment and demonstrated ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, identify solutions, and determine when escalation or additional alignment is needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build credibility and effective relationships across functions and organizational levels.
  • Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to execution and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with SharePoint or other content-management/collaboration platforms preferred.
