Overview

THE ROLE:

 

The Project Specialist, Global Project Management will work cross functionally to guide, support and lead colleagues involved in product related projects. Will be responsible in the project process from the point from gathering the approvals on the change request through the commercialization of the project.  Typical projects include simple new product roll-out, revisions to printed components, changes to formula specifications and SKU BOM revisions.  These projects may have a predetermined timeframe issued from Marketing, Regulatory or legal body.  

 

 

HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

 

•    Analyze change requests prior to routing for approvals•    Coach and support project team members in use of system, tools and methodologies.•    Research SKU BOM structure and determine components needing revision•    Organize and lead project calls and adhoc meetings related to projects•    Continually create and manage projects by identifying project dependencies and critical paths•    Continually update and edit data within projects to accurately project timeline•    Identify risks associated with project changes such as regulatory timing, inventory levels and escalate risks to cross-functional teams and management as needed •    Build rapport and gain commitment from key cross-functional global team members to ensure tasks are completed per project schedule

Job Qualifications

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

 

Skills: 

 

•    Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills•    Ability to solve practical problems and prioritize workload for effective implementation under general supervision•    Team player able to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity•    Ability to adapt as the external environment and as organization evolves •    Proficiency in Windows, Outlook, MS Word, and Excel 

 

 

Experience:

•    3 to 5 years of experience in managing projects.

 

 

Education: 

•    Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience within PMO in Herbalife 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Experience working in Agile Product Lifecycle Management environment•    Clear understanding of Product Lifecycle management and SKU BOM

•     Bachelor’s degree •    APICS Certification
