About the Role 

Essity North America is seeking a Learning & Leadership Specialist to support the execution of our learning and leadership strategy across the organization. Reporting to the Learning & Leadership Manager, this role partners closely with HR, business leaders, employees, and global Learning & Leadership colleagues to deliver impactful learning experiences and development initiatives.


The Learning & Leadership Specialist will facilitate workshops, coordinate leadership development programs, manage projects, support learning operations, and help create an engaging learner experience. Success in this role requires a proactive, hands-on approach, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to turn ideas into action while navigating changing priorities.


The ideal candidate should live in the Philadelphia, PA metro area, as this is a hybrid role.


What You Will Do

Facilitate Learning Experiences

  • Facilitate instructor-led workshops, leadership development programs, onboarding experiences, and virtual learning events for employees and managers across North America.
  • Create engaging and inclusive learning environments
  • Build familiarity with Essity's Learning & Leadership portfolio and continuously enhance the learner experience through effective facilitation and delivery.

Support Leadership & Learning Programs

  • Coordinate program logistics, communications, scheduling, enrollment management, materials preparation, and participant support.
  • Assist in identifying learning and development needs and supporting solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Support the successful implementation and adoption of global and regional learning initiatives, tools, and programs.

Manage Projects & Drive Execution

  • Lead and support assigned learning and leadership projects
  • Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of initiatives and programs.
  • Track milestones, manage timelines, and proactively drive progress.

Build Relationships & Collaborate

  • Partner with HR, business leaders, employees, facilitators, vendors, and global colleagues to support learning and leadership initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for learning-related questions, program support, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Build strong partnerships across functions to promote a culture of continuous learning and development.

Support Learning Operations

  • Support administration of learning technologies, systems, reporting processes, and learning records.
  • Monitor compliance training activities and partner with stakeholders to address completion gaps.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, invoice processing, and training administration activities.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Human Resources, Education, Facilitation, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, presentations, or group discussions in virtual and in-person environments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting leadership development programs.
  • Familiarity with leadership development, coaching, feedback, change management, team effectiveness, and employee development concepts.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

Through facilitation, project execution, stakeholder partnership, and operational excellence, the Learning & Leadership Specialist helps ensure learning and leadership solutions create meaningful impact for employees, leaders, and the business.
