The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities-Develop accurate CAD drawings and blueprints for plumbing installations, water systems, and sewer layouts.-Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to refine designs.-Ensure drawings adhere to local building codes and plumbing standards.-Maintain and update project documentation, including technical specifications.-Conduct site visits when necessary to verify measurements and design accuracy.-Optimize designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and ease of installation. Qualifications & Skills-Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software for plumbing and MEP drafting.-Strong understanding of plumbing codes, water distribution, and drainage systems.-2+ years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in the plumbing or construction industry.-Knowledge of BIM modeling is a plus.-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.-Ability to interpret architectural and engineering blueprints. Why Join Us?-Competitive salary and benefits.-Career growth opportunities in a well-established plumbing company.-Work on exciting and diverse projects across Illinois.- A supportive team environment with training and professional development.
