AVP - Head Of Group Reporting (IFRS17) - 1897899

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

To lead the Actuarial Group Reporting team, in charge of IFRS17, Solvency II and MCEV reporting. Ensure an accurate and timely submission of all actuarial valuation metrics for group reporting, while adding value to **’s actuarial department and financial reporting function. Manage relation with group and regional stakeholders in Paris and Madrid.

RESPONSIBILITIES

IFRS17

• Lead and ensure IFRS17 reporting to ** Group

• Manage stakeholders in ** Group and ** International Office

SII & MCEV reporting

• Lead and ensure monthly SII & MCEV reporting inputs to the Dashboard have been submitted in accordance with pre-agreed timelines to a high standard and with appropriate comments. The reporting inputs include NBV and VIF.

• Lead and ensure SII pillar 3 reporting is submitted to Group in accordance with ** guidelines in a timely manner.

• Prepare clearance packs for Group clearance on SII reporting with high standards of commentary and analyses.

• Ensure that the monthly Prophet checklists are completed.

• Perform sensitivity analyses and other analyses to explain the results from the stochastic ALS model.

• Deliver the half-yearly and pre-close EEV/SII analyses.

Strat Plan

• Ensure that the IFRS17 & SII projections are completed according to the agreed timelines.

• Ensure that the projections are done accurately for a period of 5 years and that the results can be explained.

Staff supervision

• Build a strong team with the required technical and soft-skills capabilities.

• Supervise, delegate, coordinate and review the work in the MCEV reporting team. Provide suitable training where required.

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years life insurance working experience preferably in actuarial valuations or financial reporting.

• A good understanding of life insurance products

• A good knowledge of Excel and Prophet (or similar packages) is required.

• A good command of English, since it is the office language.
