Compensation Range

Hourly: $17.00 - $18.50 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to act as the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while processing financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 5:15 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:15 PM
• Saturday 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM
• Rotation from Drive to Lobby, Closing Drive from time to time

Essential Functions

• Greet customers warmly and professionally; assist with routine banking needs such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments
• Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirement
• Assist with branch operational duties as needed, including opening/closing procedures and currency equipment
• Balance cash drawer daily and reconcile discrepancies promptly
• Identify opportunities to educate customers about bank products and services that meet their financial goals
• Support a positive branch environment by working collaboratively with team members
• Maintain security and confidentiality of customer information at all times
• Establish relationships with internal departments and refer customers to bank specialists when complex financial needs are identified
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Strong customer service skills with the ability of have needs-based conversations with customers both in-person and over the phone.
• Ability to meet personal and branch customer services and sales/referral expectations
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
• Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook  

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• 1+ year customer service or cash handling experience preferred
