The Role
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting inventory control activities for finished goods and raw materials at the Mesa, AZ warehouse. Using SAP and other inventory management tools, this position processes and verifies inventory transactions, performs cycle counts, manages inventory locations, and helps resolve discrepancies.
The position also supports warehouse operations by safely loading and unloading trucks and transporting materials using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our SAP ERP system
- Safely load and unload trucks and transport materials using forklifts and other appropriate material-handling equipment
- Accurately enter inventory data and complete all related transactions in a timely manner, ensuring records are current and reflect actual inventory levels
- Perform cycle counts in raw material warehouses, manufacturing areas, and finished goods locations, and reconcile any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Collaborate with Finance and other departments to research and resolve inventory discrepancies, including accounts payable variances and other ad hoc issues.
- Track returnable containers and assist in loop reconciliation when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standard, warehouse procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 to 5 years of previous inventory experience required.
- Proficiency with inventory management software, ERP systems (SAP experience is preferred)
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, good general office and organizational skills required.
- Critical thinking with good computer skills including Excel and Word required.
- Must be able to lift/push up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, order picker, pallet jacks)
- Must have a valid Arizona drivers' license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.
- This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
