Software Test Engineer

• Title: Software Test Engineer
• Educational Qualifications: B.E. / B Tech with Computer Science/Electronics as main
discipline OR MCA. Other discipline shall not apply for this position.
• Experience: 2 - 4 Years
• Location: Bengaluru IPEC India

Job Description Summary:

· Will be responsible as a SW Test Engineer for multiple applications at ASPICE
SWE4 Level i.e Unit Testing
· Will be responsible for TestCase creation and execution on targeted product HW
· Analyze and understand the Functional Software Requirements at Component
Level and develop Test Cases for Unit testing
· Perform manual and automated Unit test on Host PC as well as with LAB Test
Bench On-Target(HW and loads)
· Handle Target Electronic HW day-in and day-out
· Test Automation using Python frameworks.
· Report status of testing activities to Lead/Manager
· Will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined product development and
testing teams working on projects involving multiple locations(local as well as
international)

Work Experience/Skills:

· Expertise in programming languages like C/C++, Python Scripting
· Expertise in Unit testing tools like IBM RTRT, Polyspace, PTC and TESSY(preferred)
· Expertise in MC/DC Coverage, Block coverage, White Box Testing, Static Testing,
Dynamic Testing
· Good working knowledge with Automated Test Framework – Vector Cast,
CANTATA
· Knowledge of test methods and test management.
· Good working knowledge of Automotive communication protocols like UART,
CAN, LIN & UDS Protocols
Knowledge on requirement,configuration & defect management tools like
        Polarion, Bitbucket & Jira
     · Knowledge of GIT & GIT Tools like SmartGit, Sourcetree
     · Strong interpersonal skills and high intercultural social competence
     · Good verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with teams
       spread geographically and Agile in approach
     · Good analytical and problem solving skillsDesirable Requirements / Skills
     · Knowledge of automotive ASPICE Standard and ISO 26262 Standard is desirable
     · Knowledge on Cybersecurity is desirable
     · ISTQB CTFL is desirable
