Medical Assistant – Men’s Health & Wellness

Low T Center powered by SynergenX is growing, and we’re looking for an energetic, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our Richardson wellness clinic!

Our Medical Assistants are an important part of the patient experience. From welcoming patients and taking vitals to performing blood draws and assisting our providers, you’ll play a hands-on role in helping our clinic run smoothly every day.

And the best part? Medical Assistant certification is not required! We provide two full weeks of paid, hands-on training to help you feel confident and prepared for the role.

What We Do

At Low T Center powered by SynergenX, we specialize in personalized men's health and wellness programs, including:

• Hormone replacement therapy

• Weight management

• Nutrition and lifestyle support

• Preventative wellness

• Personalized treatment plans designed around each patient's goals

You'll work alongside healthcare professionals who specialize in hormone therapy, weight management, and overall men's wellness while gaining valuable hands-on clinical experience.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are exactly the same! Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking and documenting manual vital signs

• Performing routine blood draws

• Administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider

• Preparing and processing laboratory specimens

• Running in-house labs and preparing specimens for outside laboratories

• Maintaining lab equipment, quality-control documentation, and accurate records

• Assisting providers with minor procedures when needed

• Monitoring weekly inventory and helping order clinical supplies

• Keeping patient care areas clean, organized, and properly stocked

• Documenting patient information accurately in the EMR

• Following HIPAA, infection-control, and sterilization procedures

• Jumping in to assist the front desk and your teammates when needed

• Creating a positive, welcoming experience for every patient

What We're Looking For

We'd love to meet someone who is friendly, dependable, comfortable working with patients, and ready to learn.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• At least 6 months of Medical Assistant or related clinical experience

• Phlebotomy experience required

• Experience assisting with minor procedures preferred

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Experience using EMR systems

• Knowledge of HIPAA and infection-control standards

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to jump in where needed

• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check

Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification is preferred, but not required.

Clinic Hours

Candidates should be available within the following clinic schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Availability for 2–3 Saturdays per month is required.
