Senior Event & Sales Officer

What this job involves:

• Develop venue sales strategy, explore and identify new business opportunities.
• Integrate and coordinate venue availability to drive venue occupancy and income; manage relationships with hirers and potential hirers.
• Coordinate end-to-end event operations, including venue inquiries, site inspections, booking confirmations, event planning, logistics coordination, on-site execution, and post-event evaluation to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
• Drive venue and event sales revenue by proactively identifying leads, developing sales pipelines, preparing customized proposals, negotiating contracts, and securing bookings to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage key client accounts and foster long-term relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, associations, government bodies, and strategic partners to maximize repeat business opportunities.
• Assist in preparation of venue hire operation procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to ensure operational excellence, compliance with venue requirements, and successful event delivery.
• Monitor venue utilization, sales performance, booking trends, and market intelligence, providing recommendations to enhance venue competitiveness and revenue generation.
• Manage administrative duties which include liaison and contractual work with partners.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism and Event Management or related disciplines.
• 2-3 relevant experience in venue management, event management, venue sales, business development, hospitality, or client-facing environments.
• Proven track record in venue rental sales, event project management, and revenue generation.
• Strong experience in coordinating end-to-end event operations and stakeholder management.
• Excellent client servicing, presentation, negotiation, and business development skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
