The Technical Solutions Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise to sales representatives, resellers and/or customers during the sales process. They will Support the commercial team through product recommendations and solution generation. The Technical Solutions Team is the preferred technical resource to address needs, anticipate challenges and recommend process, product or service improvements.
This position reports to the Manager, Technical Solutions and is part of the Technical Solutions Team located in the Americas and will be on-site at our Brazil office and will support the Americas Commercial organization.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Be contacted by clients and discuss on their requirements to provide the right solution specification recommendations and communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical to the clients.
Perform appropriate calculations to develop a process design that will meet customer requirements and select equipment that can support the process design in alignment with Pall’s preferred product positioning.
Communicate with clients and Sales Associates to confirm requirements and provide the right solution per specification.
Practice proven process improvement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency
Create real world solutions for a customer process.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent Mechanical or Technical experience.
5-7 years of experience working on Projects in the Energy Transition, Chemical, Refinery, and/or Oil and Gas Industries.
Demonstrate ability to work across an organization, collaborate and influence other both directly and indirectly
Fluent in Portuguese and English
Proficient in the use of Outlook, SAP, Salesforce, MS Office computer applications including Word, Excel, TEAMs and Power Point
Travel:
Ability to travel within the Americas up to 1 to 2 times a year
It would be a plus if you also possess experience in:
Fluent in Spanish
ASME Sec VIII Division 1 Pressure Vessel knowledge
