How will you make an impact?
Our Managed Services business supports vendor managed inventory (VMI), laboratories, and operational services at customer sites across North America. As the EHS Manager supporting Managed Services, you will provide strategic leadership for environmental, health, and safety programs that protect more than 1,500 colleagues across 500 customer locations while enabling operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
You will establish the EHS vision for Managed Services, drive enterprise-wide compliance and risk management strategies, influence senior business leaders, and ensure alignment between corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Through partnering with customers, leadership, coaching and continuous improvement, you will strengthen a proactive safety culture while supporting operational performance and customer satisfaction.
What will you do?
- Serve as the senior EHS business partner for Managed Services leadership, providing strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, operational risk, and business growth initiatives.
- Partner with Managed Services leadership to implement corporate EHS programs and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, provincial, and local regulations.
- Lead implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise EHS management systems across customer locations.
- Establish governance processes to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, provincial, and local regulatory requirements.
- Lead enterprise risk assessments, operational hazard reviews and analysis, and compliance evaluations across Managed Services operations.
- Provide leadership during significant incident investigations, ensuring robust root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive EHS leadership experience supporting complex service, laboratory, manufacturing, or distribution organizations.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-site EHS programs across geographically dispersed operations.
- Experience partnering with senior operational leadership and influencing business strategy.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Expert knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable provincial and local regulations.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance compliance, operational performance, customer expectations, and financial objectives.
- Demonstrated leadership in organizational change management and safety culture transformation.
- Strong strategic planning and program management capabilities.
Physical / Environmental Requirements
- Primarily office and customer operational environments.
- Occasional exposure to laboratory, warehouse, or industrial work environments requiring appropriate PPE.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs require.
