Job Description:
We are growing! We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Fund Analyst to join our Capital Formation team. This role will support the administration and operations of investment funds, with responsibilities spanning fund accounting support, investor servicing, compliance and performance tracking, reporting, and client relationship management.
The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of professional experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a working knowledge of accounting and financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day administration and operations of investment funds.
- Track and monitor investor capital contributions, fund disbursements, distributions, and cash activity.
- Maintain accurate investor, fund, and transaction records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with fund accounting activities, including account reconciliations, expense tracking, general ledger review, and preparation of periodic reporting.
- Support quarterly and annual investor and fund reporting.
- May assist with annual audits and coordinate documentation with auditors, tax accountants, and other third parties.
- Work closely with finance, accounting, legal, and compliance teams to support fund operations and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a point of contact for fund managers and investors, responding to inquiries and providing timely updates regarding investments, fund activity, reporting, and documentation.
- Build and maintain strong client and investor relationships through professional, responsive service and ongoing communication.
- Coordinate investor onboarding, subscription documentation, capital activity, and other investor servicing requirements.
- Maintain organized fund and investor records and assist with ad hoc fund administration and Capital Formation initiatives.
- Review and process wire payments and transfers.
- Complete Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-year degree
- 1 year professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in fund administration, fund accounting, financial services, investor relations, banking, accounting, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and general technology skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong client-service orientation.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with investors, internal teams, and external service providers.
- Experience with investment funds, private equity, real estate, alternative investments, or fund administration.
- Experience with investor servicing, investor relations, asset management, or client relationship management.
- Familiarity with fund accounting and GAAP principles.
- Familiarity with EB-5 investments, USCIS requirements, and/or SEC investment fund regulations.
- Experience with Investran or similar fund administration, CRM, or investor reporting platforms.
In Wisconsin: pay rate range for this role is $62,000 - $95,610. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
