ABOUT US

We’re one of Canada’s largest pension investors, with CAD$320.6 billion of net assets as of March 31, 2026.

We invest funds for the pension plans of the federal public service, the Canadian Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Reserve Force. Headquartered in Ottawa, PSP Investments has its principal business office in Montréal and offices in New York, London and Hong Kong.

Capturing and leading complex global investments requires us to work as one to seize valuable opportunities, in close collaboration with some of the world’s top companies. At PSP, you’ll join a team of motivated and engaged professionals, dedicated to propelling our organization further than ever before. In Budget 2023, the Government of Canada announced that PSP Investments would act as the independent and exclusive investment manager for the Canada Growth Fund (CGF) a $15 billion public investment vehicle that was established to support the growth of Canada’s clean economy and help to meet its national economic and climate policy goals. Following this, PSP Investments has incorporated CGF Investment Management (CGFIM) for that purpose. CGFIM is providing the full suite of investment management services to CGF covering the entire investment process pursuant to an Investment Management Agreement (IMA).

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Canada Growth Fund Investment Management (CGFIM) Team is a specialized team within PSP Investments responsible for managing the C$15 billion Canada Growth Fund. CGF's mandate is to attract private sector investment into Canadian low-carbon projects, technologies, businesses, and supply chains through innovative investment solutions that help address market risks and uncertainties. CGF invests across sectors including carbon capture, hydrogen, renewable natural gas, clean technology, and critical minerals.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Analyst, CGFIM, you will work alongside a team of experienced investment professionals supporting the evaluation, execution, and monitoring of investments that contribute to Canada's energy transition and industrial growth objectives. • Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and sensitivity scenarios under the direction of senior team members
  • Analyze industry trends and developments within the energy transition ecosystem and prepare summaries, reports, and presentations
  • Assist in gathering and reviewing information required for due diligence processes
  • Support the coordination of external advisors involved in commercial, technical, legal, financial, tax, environmental, and ESG reviews
  • Research public company comparables and precedent transactions to support valuation analyses
  • Assist in preparing investment memoranda, presentation materials, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and investment committees
  • Contribute to the evaluation of ESG considerations and impact metrics associated with potential investments
  • Assist with monitoring portfolio investments and preparing ongoing performance reporting
  • Build knowledge of key sectors relevant to the Canada Growth Fund and participate in industry conferences, meetings, and networking activities
  • Maintain market intelligence and share relevant insights with the broader team

Note: The position requires travel within Canada and occasionally internationally.
