Description

Location: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City.
About the role:

As a MAM Field in Oncology, you will be a field-based scientific expert (around 60% of your time in the field) who connects GSK’s oncology science with healthcare professionals and organizations across Vietnam. You will help ensure the safe and effective use of GSK medicines, support evidence generation, and place patients’ needs at the centre of every scientific discussion.

What you will do:

  • Lead high-quality, compliant and evidence-based scientific engagement with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), External Experts (EEs) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) to strengthen GSK’s scientific leadership and credibility in oncology.
  • Build, maintain and strategically manage relationships with key oncology stakeholders (including KOLs, investigators, multidisciplinary teams, healthcare institutions and scientific societies) in line with medical priorities and compliance requirements.
  • Generate, synthesize and translate high-value medical and healthcare system insights into actionable recommendations that support medical strategy, evidence generation, launch readiness and long-term portfolio planning.
  • Monitor and anticipate emerging trends in oncology (treatment paradigms, clinical practice, biomarker adoption, diagnostics, healthcare policies, reimbursement, patient access, competitive activities and unmet medical needs).
  • Act as a primary source of external oncology intelligence by proactively capturing field signals and environmental changes that may impact patient care, clinical practice, healthcare delivery, treatment adoption and access to innovative therapies.
  • Provide accurate, balanced and up-to-date scientific information on oncology diseases, GSK medicines, emerging clinical evidence and competitive scientific developments through scientific exchange and medical education.
  • Support evidence generation activities (clinical trials, investigator-sponsored studies, real-world evidence initiatives and scientific collaborations), identifying and engaging investigators, research sites and academic partners in line with GSK policies and local regulations.
  • Partner with external stakeholders to improve patient care pathways, strengthen multidisciplinary oncology care and advance evidence-based clinical practice in oncology.
  • Contribute to disease-area strategies, launch readiness plans and long-term medical initiatives, and support the development of a strong, credible and future-ready Oncology Medical organization through knowledge sharing, capability building and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Prepare and deliver internal medical and product training (diseases, new or existing GSK or competitor products) to the Field Force and other appropriate internal audiences, while maintaining high standards of scientific integrity, compliance and pharmacovigilance.

What you bring:

Education

  • Medical or Pharmacy university graduate.
  • Medical graduate with a relevant specialist post-graduate degree is preferred.

Experience

  • Good understanding of Vietnam medical practice.
  • Working experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Medical Affairs.

  • Clear, confident communication skills, with strong presentation and training capability.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex scientific and environmental information.
  • High level of ethics, integrity and commitment.
  • Good proficiency in MS Office and computer skills.
