This role is responsible for leading project planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance management functions across the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of large-scale commercial developments in line with approved scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and statutory requirements.Job Description
About the Role:
Lead the planning and project controls function across all project phases, from baseline development through project close-out.
Develop and manage integrated project schedules, resource plans, cost forecasts, and procurement milestones.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to align project plans with business objectives.
Conduct regular planning review meetings to monitor progress, critical path activities, project risks, and approved changes.
Drive recovery plans and corrective actions to address schedule delays and performance gaps..
General Responsibilities
Review project schedules, resource plans, and cost forecasts for feasibility, constructability, and contractual compliance.
Monitor project performance using dashboards, MIS reports, KPIs, and earned value metrics to identify risks and deviations.
Lead project progress reviews, forecasting, and change management processes.
Track procurement activities, long-lead items, and delivery schedules to support project execution.
Prepare and present progress reports, S-curves, recovery schedules, cash flow forecasts, and risk registers to stakeholders.
Mentor planning teams and promote best practices in project planning and controls.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
10-12 years of experience in project management for large-scale, Commercial projects within a PMC, developer, or consulting environment.
Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, contract administration, construction methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools (MSP/Primavera), and MIS/reporting systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive teams toward timely and quality project delivery.
