As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Reporting in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
