The Team
This is a great time and a fantastic opportunity to join Mundipharma in Spain as a Key Account Manager (KAM), one year on from the launch of a new medicine for the treatment of rare diseases in the anti-infectives sector. This role requires solid, proven experience in the launch, introduction and negotiation of new medicines with key hospital accounts within the designated territory: experience in anti-infectives is ideal, onco-hematology or rare diseases would also be considered.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for the effective execution of the Accounts strategy, providing the requested reports and engaging all stakeholders within the assigned accounts, to introduce and introduce this new drug through the assigned messages and guidelines in an omnichannel approach.
Responsible for the development and execution of the business plans of the assigned accounts in their area of responsibility.
Introduction in the request of the hospital pharmacies of the assigned accounts.
Maximise and closely track the allocated budget.
Provide critical competitive intelligence within the assigned territory by developing a deep understanding of the decision-making structure, key influencers and other strategic objectives relevant to the client, to contribute to the sales strategy of the national account.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the disease state and treatment options and their impact on patients, payers, institutions, health systems and healthcare providers. Regularly attend company-developed meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.
Know and act in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, codes and Mundipharma policies, in the interest of patients. Ensure the highest ethical standards for product promotion in order to support its best use always seeking the benefit of the patient.
What you’ll bring
Experience in hospital negotiation as a KAM for pharmaceutical/biotechnological products.
Proven experience in launching and introducing new products in the hospital environment.
Anti-infectious experience is highly valued
Previous experience launching drugs for rare diseases is also valued.
Previous experience in hospital formulary processes is necessary.
Previous experience in price negotiation in hospital pharmacy is required.
Excellent communication skills.
Highly skilled in presenting and interacting with healthcare professionals (HCP) and key opinion leaders (KOL)
Autonomous and decisive professional

Salary range
€60,000 - €70.000 gross annual salary + incentives
