Job Description Summary
The Gas Turbine Assembly Line Cell Leader is responsible for leading the daily operations of a designated assembly cell, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Serving as the primary link between plant leadership and cross-functional operational teams, the Cell Leader drives execution of production plans, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and ensures compliance with GE Vernova’s manufacturing, quality, and safety standards.This role provides direct leadership to shop floor personnel while coordinating closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Maintenance, and EHS teams to achieve customer commitments, maximize productivity, and support sustainable business growth.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily assembly cell operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time production.
- Manage manpower and resources effectively to meet customer and business needs.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Planning, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues and keep operations running smoothly.
- Track key performance indicators such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity, and take action when needed.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with EHS requirements and company standards.
- Support quality excellence by ensuring work is completed according to engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
- Lead and develop the team through coaching, performance feedback, and training support.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to improve efficiency, productivity, and workflow.
- Ensure equipment, tools, and resources are available and functioning properly to support production.
- Contribute to productivity, cost reduction, and overall business performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of manufacturing operations experience with minimum 5 years in leadership supervisory or management capacity within a complex industrial environment.
- Proven experience leading frontline teams in high-performance, safety-critical manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in ERP and manufacturing systems such as SAP, Oracle, MES, or equivalent platforms.
Eligibility Requirement:
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restrictions.
Desired Characteristics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
- Master's degree is considered an advantage.
- Experience in gas turbine, power generation, aerospace, heavy machinery, rotating equipment, or other high-precision assembly environments preferred.
- Knowledge of EHS management systems and operational risk management.
- Experience leading transformation, productivity, or capacity expansion initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities using operational performance metrics and reporting tools.
