Job Description

As a Security Guard Customer Support in Garland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related needs with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production or distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and support site entry and exit procedures in accordance with established policies.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
