What you’ll do
- Technical Planning & Quoting: Analyzing RFQs, preparing technical offers, developing manufacturing routings, creating Bills of Materials (BOMs), and defining tooling requirements.
- Process Authoring work procedures, inspection plans, and self-inspection sheets. Managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), performing root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Documentation & Communication: Translating and adapting technical drawings, specifications, and procedures from English/French to Romanian to ensure seamless production execution.
- Technical Oversight: Conducting on-site technical assessments of internal processes and sub-suppliers (domestic and international) to ensure compliance.
- Continuous Improvement: Active application of Lean methodologies (6 Sigma, 5S, VSM) to drive efficiency and safety.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Experience: Demonstrated background in engineering or mechanical assembly.
- Technical Proficiency: 3D modeling/CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, or Catia), interpretation of technical drawings, and materials science (iron, steel, copper).
- Lean Methodology: Practical knowledge of 5S, VSM, and other process optimization tools.
- Language Skills: Fluent Romanian and intermediate English proficiency.
