The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

40Position Overview
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support organizational shared governance structure. Mentors staff and leaders in shared governance practice. Attends shared governance meetings to provide guidance and support with project development and outcome identification.
- Support recognition of clinical staff and clinical initiatives. Collaborates with departmental leadership in the development of recognition program. Serves as resource to support external recognition/designation programs.
- Participate in clinical research and evidence-based practice initiatives. Promotes participation in clinical research and evidence-based practice projects by staff at levels. Promotes dissemination of clinical programs and projects at internal and external conferences and publications.
- Participate in the analysis of quality data metrics and development of programs to improve outcomes. Assists in maintaining databases and identifying benchmarks as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to drive clinical practice to achieve optimal outcomes. Promotes evidence-based practice by demonstrating a commitment to quality patient care and clinical excellence.
- Participate in educational initiatives to promote shared governance, evidence-based practice, and clinical excellence
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Master's of science in nursing degree.
- Experience: Three years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
- Other Credentials: Registered Nurse - NJ
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong writing and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Special Training: Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Must be able to manage a large amount of activity and several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
