Parts Representative

M.H. EBY, Inc, a leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers and truck bodies, is looking for a full time Parts Representative to join our growing company. Candidates are required to have point of purchase customer service & computer experience, as well as excellent people skills. Candidates should thrive in a fast-moving environment. Previous experience in ag or related field is preferred but not required.

Schedule: 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday

General Purpose:

Handle parts sales, process sales orders, filing sales orders, and parts cutting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must possess the ability to maintain a positive attitude and work effectively within a team

• environment.

• Effectively comply with all company safety standards.
• First point of contact for part calls and counter sales
  • Must demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate listening skills and problem-solving skills relative to customer inquiries.
• Process UPS shipment requests; create bills of lading for freight shipments.
• Computer proficient; data entry, internet access
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Complete sales transactions; process payments
• Customer contact at parts counter; sale of parts and fill each order (retrieve parts from inventory)
• Take orders and process invoices for all fabricated parts sales.
• Communicate order requests to engineering.
• Assist customers with fabricated sales orders (toolboxes, etc.)
• Assist in shipping and receiving of freight orders.
• Processing of freight and UPS orders
• Maintain clean work area.
• Perform all tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Must possess the ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks at once, as well as providing back-up support within the team.
• Must be proactive, take initiative, and be accountable.
• Operate Forklift
• Operate hand tools, misc. equipment, and tools to assist customers with orders being placed.

Requirements:

• Prior experience with customer service & computers
• Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
• Great communication skills
• Must be 18 years of age or over
• Must be legal to work in the USA
