Job Summary

The Sourcing Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing proactive talent sourcing strategies that build high-quality pipelines for current and future hiring demands. This role partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and business stakeholders to identify, engage, and nurture passive talent across a variety of skill sets and labor markets. Through market intelligence, talent mapping, and targeted outreach campaigns, the Sourcing Recruiter delivers qualified prospect slates that support both direct hiring and proposal-driven staffing initiatives. The position leverages sourcing technologies, talent CRM platforms, and workforce analytics to drive pipeline health, improve candidate engagement, and forecast talent availability. Success in this role requires strong organization, collaboration, and attention to detail while maintaining accurate and compliant sourcing records that support business objectives

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, talent communities, professional networks, Boolean search methodologies, and targeted email/SMS campaigns.
• Conduct talent mapping, labor market research, and competitor analysis to identify qualified passive candidates for current requisitions, strategic workforce plans, and proposal opportunities.
• Build, maintain, and continuously develop candidate pipelines within ATS and CRM platforms, ensuring accurate documentation, data integrity, and compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Deliver qualified prospect slates to recruiting partners, including candidate profiles, resume assessments, screening insights, and availability updates aligned to defined hiring criteria.
• Monitor and analyze sourcing performance metrics, including response rates, conversion rates, and time-to-slate, using data-driven insights to improve sourcing effectiveness and pipeline quality.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to refine talent profiles, adjust search strategies, and align sourcing priorities with evolving business requirements and market conditions.
• Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment marketing campaigns, talent communities, and hiring events targeting critical and hard-to-fill skill sets.
• Develop workforce intelligence reports on talent availability, geographic feasibility, compensation trends, competitive hiring activity, and labor market conditions to support staffing decisions, proposal efforts, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Recommend and implement sourcing process improvements, automation opportunities, and technology optimizations that increase efficiency, candidate engagement, and pipeline scalability.
• Travel as needed to support hiring events, industry conferences, career fairs, and recruiting initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned in support of mission and business requirements.

 

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in talent sourcing, talent acquisition, recruiting operations, or full-cycle recruiting; OR High School diploma and a minimum of 6 years of experience in talent sourcing, talent acquisition, recruiting operations, or full-cycle recruiting.
• Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and/or talent CRM platforms to manage candidate pipelines and recruiting activity.
• Experience sourcing candidates through professional networking platforms and resume databases such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, or similar sourcing tools.
• Experience conducting Boolean searches, talent research, and direct candidate outreach campaigns.
• Experience maintaining recruiting documentation, sourcing records, and candidate activity data within enterprise systems.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Background sourcing candidates for positions requiring U.S. security clearances within government contracting, aerospace, defense, engineering, or technology organizations.
• Recruiting or sourcing experience in both corporate/in-house talent acquisition and agency environments.
• Participation in proposal staffing efforts, strategic workforce planning, or workforce intelligence initiatives.
• Application of recruiting analytics, labor market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, and talent availability data to develop sourcing strategies and workforce recommendations.
  

Work Environment

• Location: Remote
• Travel Requirements: Minimal (0-20%)
• Working Hours: Standard Business Hours

 

Compensation: $75,600 – 113,300.
The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
