2978 - Global Operations Executive - GCS
Role Summary and Impact
We are looking for an Operations Executive to support the day-to-day operations of our global Reckitt account. Sitting at the centre of our operating model, this role plays an important part in ensuring the quality, consistency and smooth running of the data, reporting, tools and processes that support teams across multiple markets.
A key part of the role will focus on supporting the governance and quality of our Media Activity Planner (MAP), coordinating global reporting deliverables, and helping drive the effective adoption and day-to-day use of key platforms such as MAP and WPP Open. Working closely with market teams, strategy leads, client stakeholders and platform owners, you will help ensure information is accurate, processes are followed, and operational issues are identified and resolved efficiently.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, solving problems and improving the way teams work. We're looking for someone with a proactive mindset who takes ownership of their day-to-day responsibilities while showing curiosity to understand the wider business context and identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
As part of one of WPP's largest global client relationships, you'll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, multi-market operations, reporting transformation and AI-enabled workflows, while developing a strong foundation in global media operations. The role offers excellent opportunities to build your skills, take on increasing responsibility and grow your career as the Reckitt operating model continues to evolve.
Key Responsibilities

- Support the ongoing governance and quality assurance of data within the Media Activity Planner tool (MAP) across European markets.
- Carry out routine quality checks, identify data inconsistencies and work with market teams to resolve issues.
- Monitor governance compliance and escalate recurring issues or risks where appropriate.
- Help maintain governance standards and promote best practice across the account.
Global Reporting & Operational Coordination
- Coordinate the collection and consolidation of reporting inputs from market teams.
- Support the delivery of recurring global reports, ensuring data is accurate and deadlines are met.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting requests from client and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare data and insights to support business reviews and presentations.
Platform Support & Adoption
- Provide day-to-day support for MAP and WPP Open, including user onboarding, access requests and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain reporting templates, guidance documents and process documentation.
- Support the rollout and adoption of new tools and operational processes.
Operational Excellence
- Support operational improvement initiatives across the account.
- Help identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist with competitor reporting and other operational projects as required.
Team Operations
- Maintain key operational resources including SharePoint, Teams and knowledge libraries.
- Support onboarding activities for new team members.
- Coordinate purchase orders and assist with invoice tracking.
- Help organise meetings, documentation and action tracking.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in an operations, project coordination, account management or similar role, ideally within a media agency, marketing or related environment.
- Experience supporting reporting, project coordination or operational processes is desirable.
- Exposure to global or multi-market accounts would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
- Good communication skills and confidence working with different teams.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Curious, proactive and willing to learn.
- Demonstrates a proactive mindset, taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities while showing curiosity to understand the wider business context and identify opportunities to improve ways of working.
- Enjoys solving problems and improving ways of working.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
