Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver License Patrol in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, observation, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and unusual activities in clear, accurate reports for Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
