CNC Machinist | Aerospace & Defense Precision Manufacturing | St. George, UT
The components built in this facility do not go into ordinary machines. They go into aircraft, spacecraft and defense systems where precision is not a preference. It is a requirement. A single part that does not meet specification can ground a mission before it starts.
This role is for the machinist who takes that seriously.
A precision manufacturing operation in St. George, Utah is looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join a growing aerospace and defense production team. Multiple openings are available. You will start on first shift for two to three months of training before transitioning permanently to second shift Monday through Thursday with Fridays off.

What you will be doing:
- Setting up and operating CNC mills and turn mill equipment
- Machining precision metal components to exact specifications
- Reading and following technical drawings, work instructions and machining requirements
- Selecting tooling, fixtures, speeds, feeds and machining parameters
- Measuring finished parts using micrometers and precision inspection tools
- Troubleshooting equipment, tooling and machining issues
- Supporting CNC programming and verifying new programs
- Partnering with engineering and manufacturing to improve quality and efficiency
What you need to bring:
- Two or more years of CNC machining experience in metal manufacturing
- Hands on CNC milling and turn mill experience
- Ability to produce precision parts to tight specifications
- Experience using micrometers and precision measuring instruments
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, speeds and feeds
- Ability to read technical drawings and manufacturing instructions
- Willingness to complete first shift training before transitioning to second shift
- Mazak or Citizen machine experience is a strong plus
- Aerospace or high precision manufacturing experience is a strong plus
Second shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM. Fridays off.
