Key Responsibilities
- Greets guests, presents menus, and shares detailed information on food and beverage options
- Takes accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Relays orders to the kitchen and ensures timely delivery of meals
- Serves food and beverages professionally and courteously
- Checks on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Handles payment transactions accurately
- Collaborates with other team members to provide excellent guest service
- Assists with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
Skills, Knowledge and Requirements
- Experience serving in an upscale restaurant environment helpful
- Familiarity with POS systems and bar service requirements
- Proficient in conversational English
- Customer service-oriented with a positive, friendly demeanor
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts
- Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and service items
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Able to lift, push or pull equipment, chemicals, tools, supplies up to 40 lbs.
