- Swing Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Grave Shift: 11:00 PM -7:00 AM
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on operational needs.
Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking a polished, dependable, and service-oriented Premier Concierge Security Officer to join our team in Denver.
This position combines professional security responsibilities with an elevated level of customer service. The officer serves as a visible and approachable point of contact for individuals visiting or working at the assigned location while maintaining awareness of security, safety, access, and operational concerns.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing security responsibilities with frequent public interaction. You should be able to provide assistance with a welcoming attitude while remaining observant, professional, and prepared to respond appropriately when an incident or concern develops.
This is an unarmed position focused on prevention, observation, communication, customer service, documentation, and timely response.
What You Will Do
Security & Patrol Operations
- Conduct routine patrols throughout assigned indoor and outdoor areas on foot and, when required, by vehicle.
- Maintain an active and professional security presence throughout the property.
- Observe surroundings for unusual activity, unsafe conditions, access concerns, or violations of established procedures.
- Conduct routine checks of doors, gates, windows, emergency exits, elevators, and other designated areas.
- Operate a company vehicle for patrol duties when assigned.
- Maintain heightened awareness while traveling between designated patrol areas.
- Identify conditions requiring attention and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established post orders, operating procedures, and company expectations.
Concierge & Guest Services
- Welcome tenants, visitors, guests, and other individuals in a courteous and professional manner.
- Serve as a helpful first point of contact while maintaining appropriate security awareness.
- Provide directions and general information regarding locations, operating hours, amenities, restrooms, lost-and-found procedures, and other available resources.
- Respond to routine questions with patience, professionalism, and a willingness to assist.
- Help individuals navigate the property while maintaining appropriate boundaries and security procedures.
- Address concerns in a calm and respectful manner.
- Maintain a polished, approachable presence during all guest interactions.
Access Control & Monitoring
- Monitor designated entry and exit points in accordance with established procedures.
- Verify identification when required and issue or manage visitor credentials as directed.
- Maintain accurate visitor and access records.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and other assigned security technology.
- Report unusual activity, access violations, equipment concerns, or other irregularities.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information or operational matters.
Incident Response & De-Escalation
- Respond to disturbances, emergencies, suspicious activity, and other calls for service.
- Assess situations and take appropriate action within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
- Communicate calmly and professionally during difficult or stressful interactions.
- Use appropriate verbal de-escalation techniques when circumstances require.
- Request additional assistance when an incident exceeds the scope of the position.
- Provide accurate information to supervisors, emergency personnel, or designated contacts when appropriate.
- Follow established emergency procedures and applicable laws during incident response.
Reporting & Documentation
- Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
- Document significant observations, calls for service, guest interactions, and unusual circumstances.
- Record relevant information clearly and objectively.
- Submit required reports and electronic documentation within established timeframes.
- Use operational applications and technology, including platforms such as TrackTik, as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records while protecting confidential information.
Professional Standards
- Follow company policies, post orders, procedures, and applicable licensing requirements.
- Maintain a consistently professional, polished, and well-groomed appearance.
- Protect the privacy and confidentiality of information encountered while performing assigned duties.

Required Qualifications
- Active Guard Card required, as applicable to the assignment.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Minimum 3 years of clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required for vehicle patrol responsibilities.
- Ability to operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly when assigned to vehicle patrol.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of customer service experience in a public-facing position.
- Minimum 1–2 years of professional security experience.
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
- Ability to complete required onboarding and company training.
- Ability to meet all applicable licensing requirements for the assigned location.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous during challenging interactions.
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures and maintaining communication with leadership.
- Ability to work assigned day, swing, or overnight shifts consistently.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays when operationally required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Two or more years of additional experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a comparable field.
- Previous concierge, hospitality, guest-services, customer-service, or front-facing experience.
- Experience working in a position requiring frequent interaction with the public.
- Previous vehicle patrol experience.
- Familiarity with access control, CCTV, alarms, and electronic reporting systems.
- Experience using TrackTik or similar operational platforms.
- Previous experience with incident documentation and daily activity reporting.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures and de-escalation practices.

Physical Requirements
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods during an assigned shift.

- Lift and carry items weighing approximately 25 pounds when necessary.
- Maintain sufficient visual and auditory awareness to monitor surroundings.
