This is a genuinely cross-border finance seat - real intercompany complexity, real FX exposure, and a business that moves at start-up pace rather than corporate pace. What you'll be doing
- Owning full accounts-to-balance-sheet processing for two of the group's entities - journals, GL, reconciliations, management accounts
- Managing accounts-to-trial-balance for the rest of the group
- Maintaining fixed asset registers - additions, disposals, depreciation, PPE recs
- Preparing statutory returns across applicable jurisdictions
- Processing and reconciling intercompany loans, recharges and balances across entities
- Handling foreign currency transactions, revaluations and exchange rate application
- Processing cross-border payments across multiple currencies
- Supporting audits, including running the local South African audit end-to-end
