Overview

The Marketing Specialist develops and executes marketing initiatives that drive profitable revenue growth, generate demand and strengthen the hotel's market presence, with particular focus on Rooms and Food & Beverage.

The role requires a commercially focused marketing professional who can translate marketing strategies, digital content and promotional activities into measurable business results and return on investment (ROI).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions and activations that drive demand, revenue and profitability.
• Manage the hotel's presence across relevant digital, social media and other marketing channels.
• Create engaging written, photographic, video and visual content aligned with the hotel's brand and commercial objectives.
• Develop strategies to reach target markets and convert marketing engagement into business opportunities.
• Manage online communities, customer engagement and the hotel's digital reputation.
• Maintain relevant websites and digital content, ensuring information is accurate, current and brand-aligned.
• Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to identify marketing and revenue opportunities.
• Coordinate marketing activities, promotions and events with hotel departments, external partners and the local community.
• Promote Rooms, Food & Beverage, events, private functions and other revenue-generating opportunities.
• Track and analyze marketing performance, revenue contribution and ROI, providing recommendations to improve results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years' professional marketing experience, including developing and executing marketing campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, social media management and content development within a professional or commercial environment.
• Proven ability to develop marketing initiatives that generate demand, support revenue growth and deliver measurable results.
• Experience using analytics to evaluate campaign performance and ROI.
• Strong written communication, creative, analytical and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of photography/video and graphic design/content creation tools.
• Hospitality, tourism or Food & Beverage marketing experience would be an asset.
