Description
Engineering Technician
Tasks and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist industrial and mechanical engineers
- Assembly of equipment, document process and quality control
- Review current engineering program activities to make recommendations for changes/improvement opportunities
- Perform tests to assure quality control, performance and repeatability of results, and to help solve technical issues
- Maintain and support organization of inventory of production materials, tools, and accessories.
- Keep tools and work areas clean and organized
- Perform other duties as assigned; including but not limited to Pre-sales Support and Customer Support
In addition to performance of activities above, performance will also be evaluated on (but not limited to):
- Organizational and planning skills
- Excitement about testing, measuring, documenting performance of equipment
- Ability to, and curiosity about, learning new skills by building with your hands and documenting potential improvements to the workflow
- Ability to work with others in a multi-disciplinary team
- A hands-on approach, comfortable prototyping and working in a workshop including CNC equipment, 3d printers and hand tools
- Ability to communicate your ideas to the team
- Positive contributions to the Pensa community
- Enthusiasm to deliver the next great product experience to the world
