Responsibilities
Directs and coordinates the daily activities of assigned department including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Acts as a liaison between their assigned department and the referring physician’s offices. May work with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. In Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Medicine supervisor serves adult and geriatric patients.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED:1. Must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, accreditedultrasonography program, accredited radiologic technology program or accredited MRI technology program.2. Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board; OR Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT); or Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); OR Registration as a MRI Technologist by ARRT or AMRIT; or Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT.3. Three (3) or more years of clinical experience.4. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATIONPREFERRED1. One (1) year of supervisory experience.
