As Finance Analyst within our Controlling Operations SD Transversal Spend & Compliance
Our Team:
The ContOps Transversal organization is on a transformation journey to become a best-in-class Finance organization. Finance Analyst independently manages moderately complex spend control and posting activities across the Americas Region, ensuring process compliance, data quality, and timely reporting while contributing to process improvements.
Main responsibilities:
- Posting & MJEs: Independently prepare and post complex MJEs (PO accruals, non-PO accruals, reclassifications); manage AE posting exceptions; support TIMI/ICO classification
- Spend Controls & Governance: Own PO approval governance and threshold monitoring; execute PO health checks; support spend control tool rollout; monitor data quality and visualization accuracy
- Process Improvement: Contribute to process documentation and governance implementation; identify automation opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Internal/SOX controls and requirement
- Prepare reports for closing analysis
- Other ad hoc projects and works within Hub team.
About you
- Experience:2+ years in finance environment, preferably in service delivery operations.
- Soft and technical skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently on assigned tasks
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to learn and support team members
- Risk & Internal controls advanced.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SAP, TM1, and Shift.
- Capable of working in multiple systems and tools.
- Financial analysis and reporting skills
- A solid grasp of evolving Sanofi technology platforms, processes, and controls.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
- Languages: English B2+ level.
