Job Description:

In this position you will be responsible for the overall handling of automobile physical damage claims assigned in a timely, courteous and professional fashion including minor to moderate losses.

Vacancy: 1 Permanent

Salary Range: $60,960 - $76,200/year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm policy coverage and interpret policy conditions

• Investigate and analyze the circumstances of the loss

• Negotiate a satisfactory settlement and settle within file authority

• Communicate with other departments through the handling of the file

• Maintain a current diary system and document all conversations and file activity

Qualifications

• Familiar with the OAP1 and legislative revisions

• Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

• 1-3 years' experience adjusting auto physical damage claims.

• College/University degree or equivalent

• Working towards CIP designation
