Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a dynamic and innovative Technical Director - Asset Management to join our team!
In this role, you will lead Parsons' Asset Management team, which forms a key part of our Urban Intelligence offering, bringing together expertise in asset management, digital solutions, data, and smart infrastructure. You will focus on developing and expanding the business, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across the Urban Intelligence community, you will help advance strategic and technical asset management services across the GCC.
This role requires implementing a strategic and structured approach to growth coupled with proven technical experience in delivery. This will cover our principal industry sectors such as critical infrastructure, public services, mobility systems, built environment, information and asset management frameworks and how technology benefits asset management throughout the lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead the regional Asset Management team across MEA, driving business growth, market positioning and service excellence.
Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, partners and industry stakeholders to identify and mature strategic opportunities.
Lead major pursuits and proposals, shaping winning asset management solutions that address client business challenges and objectives.
Provide technical and commercial leadership across the asset management portfolio, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Provide strategic and technical leadership on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and concession-based infrastructure projects, advising clients on asset lifecycle requirements, performance frameworks, asset handback strategies, investment planning, and long-term asset value optimisation.
Work closely with regional and global leadership to expand market presence, develop service offerings and support strategic business objectives.
Build, mentor and grow a high-performing team of asset management professionals across the region.
Champion innovation and digital transformation in asset management, leveraging data, technology and industry best practice to deliver value for clients.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Infrastructure, Technology, or a related discipline.
25+ years of experience in asset management, infrastructure consulting, digital transformation, or technology-enabled advisory services, with a strong track record of leadership and business growth.
Demonstrated experience leading and growing teams of senior professionals and Subject Matter Experts, services and client portfolios across multiple sectors and geographies.
Strong understanding of asset management best practice and ISO 55000 principles, with experience advising clients on asset management strategy, governance, investment planning and organisational transformation.
Proven ability to identify, develop and convert business opportunities, building long-term client relationships and securing major projects and programmes.
Experience working within critical infrastructure sectors such as transport, mobility, utilities, water, energy, aviation or smart cities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior client executives, industry partners and internal leadership teams.
Commercially minded, with experience leading proposals, strategic pursuits, framework agreements and business development initiatives.
Strong people leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching and developing high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
Confident public speaker with experience representing organisations at industry conferences, client forums and executive workshops, and contributing to thought leadership and market engagement activities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
The role will be based out of the UAE with as needed travel within MEA region for project and business development related activities
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Familiarity with advanced asset analytics, predictive maintenance, condition-based maintenance, and the application of AI and IoT technologies within asset-intensive environments.
Established professional network within the infrastructure, transportation, utilities, energy, or public sector markets across the Middle East.
Professional certifications related to asset management, engineering, project management, or business leadership (e.g. CAMA, IAM Certificate/Diploma, CEng, PMP, MBA).
Experience contributing to industry forums, thought leadership publications, conference presentations, or professional bodies related to asset management.
